描述 Polymyxin B nonapeptide TFA is a cyclic peptide obtained by protein hydrolysis of polymyxin B by removal of the terminal aminoacyl residue. Polymyxin B nonapeptide TFA has low toxicity and lacks bactericidal activity, but still enhances bacterial susceptibility to a wide range of antibiotics by penetrating the outer membranes of Gram-negative bacteria[1][2]]3].Polymyxin B nonapeptide TFA acts synergistically with azithromycin in the concentration range of 2-32 μg/mL for 24 hours[1].In the 10 μg/mL concentration range, Polymyxin B nonapeptide TFA inhibited LPS-induced neutrophil activation in a concentration-dependent manner[2].
