描述 N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin is a polyphenol extracted from safflower seeds, possessing antioxidative, anti-atherogenic, and anti-inflammatory characteristics. It acts by inhibiting PDGF-induced phosphorylation of the PDGF receptor and Ca2+ release from the sarcoplasmic reticulum [1]. N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin improves atherosclerosis and aortic wall distensibility in vivo and is commonly employed in atherosclerosis research [2].
