生物活性
描述 Florfenicol, a synthetic drug with chemical structure and spectrum of antibacterial activity similar to chloramphenicol, has been shown to be effective against a number of bacterial pathogens. Florfenicol had a higher bactericidal efficacy in the presence of myo-inositol[3]. Florfenicol, a commonly used veterinary antibiotic, appears to be toxic to the developing chick embryo at around day 5 of incubation, in the absence of related toxicity in the hen or cockerel[4]. Florfenicol and azithromycin increased adipogenesis and altered gut microbiota composition, SCFA (short-chain fatty acids) production, and bile acid metabolism[5].
