描述 | Nα,Nα-Bis(carboxymethyl)-L-lysine serves as a competitive antagonist for the bitter taste receptor 4, exhibiting an IC50 of 59 nM. It is applicable in studies related to bitter taste receptors[1][2][3]. At a concentration of 59 nM, Nα,Nα-Bis(carboxymethyl)-L-lysine reduces the basal activity of the H214A mutant of T2R4 by 40%[1]. With a 60 nM concentration for 15 minutes, Nα,Nα-Bis(carboxymethyl)-L-lysine prevents the quinine-induced decrease in the basal activation state of Rac1 in HEK293T cells expressing T2R4 and Ga16/44, but it does not affect HEK293T control cells[2]. |
